There was no surprise when 17th ranked DutchDen Helder (5-15) was outplayed on the road by eighth ranked Belgian Okapi Aalst (11-8) 110-62 on Saturday. Aalst dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Den Helder 's 32. Aalst forced 19 Den Helder turnovers and outrebounded them 42-25 including 31 on the defensive glass. Aalst looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Den Helder 's players. The best player for the winners was Bosnian forward Njegos Sikiras (205-1999, agency: PEPI SPORT) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 18 rebounds. American guard Trey Tennyson (193-2001, college: TCU) chipped in 19 points and 6 assists. Four Okapi Aalst players scored in double figures.
